MGB - Maximator Gas Boosters Systems

Maximator DLE-75 gas booster in stainless steel carry frame with integrated gauges

Maximator Gas Booster Systems (MGB) are advanced, air-driven systems designed for the oil-free compression of industrial gases and air, delivering high-pressure performance for a variety of applications. These systems are engineered to compress gases like argon, helium, hydrogen, nitrogen (up to 2,400 bar/36,000 psi) and oxygen (up to 350 bar/5,075 psi) with precision and reliability. Their explosion-proof design, requiring no electrical power, makes them ideal for hazardous environments, compliant with standards like 2014/34/EU.

Applications

Maximator Gas Booster Systems are used across industries for tasks requiring high-pressure gas compression. Common applications include:

  • Pressure Testing: Verifying the integrity of components like pipes, valves, and vessels.
  • Gas Bottle Transfer and Filling: Efficiently filling gas cylinders, such as oxygen bottles for diving or medical use, or helium for airbag systems (up to 800 bar).
  • Accumulator Charging: Precharging hydraulic accumulators with nitrogen for industrial systems.
  • Gas Reclamation: Recovering low-pressure gas from bottles to maximize resource use.
  • Instrument Calibration: Providing precise high-pressure gas for calibrating equipment in aerospace and manufacturing.
  • Hydrogen Compression: Supporting small-scale hydrogen applications, such as fueling stations or industrial processes
  • Diving and Emergency Services: Filling oxygen bottles or mixing gases for technical diving and fire station operations, with compact ROB-Series boosters.
  • Aircraft and Bottle Filling: Using oxygen booster packages (e.g., MTO2-2-DLE30) for high-flow, sterile applications.
