The Maximator GPD-2 Series High Pressure Pumps are air-driven, double-acting pumps with dual air drive heads. Designed for applications requiring both high discharge flow and ultra-high pressure, these pumps are well-suited to oil & gas, petrochemical, steel, and offshore operations.

Operating from a 1–10 bar (14.5–145 psi) standard air supply, the GPD-2 Series delivers up to 3,000 bar (43,500 psi) with flow rates as high as 48 L/min. Built with corrosion-resistant materials and cartridge-style check valves, these pumps are engineered for ease of maintenance, reliability, and safe operation.

A distance piece design guarantees full separation of the air drive and hydraulic sections, preventing cross-contamination. Models marked with EX certification comply with Group II, Category 2G, IIB explosion protection standards for use in hazardous environments.

Applications include:

• Pressure testing of large-diameter pipelines, hose reels, umbilicals, and wellhead control valves

• Subsea valve actuation and accumulator charging

• High-flow chemical injection (methanol, glycol, and related chemicals)

• Aviation and automotive testing (brake fluid, Skydrol, transmission fluid, power steering)

• Industrial leak testing and refinery operations

All GPD-2 Series pumps can also be integrated into Maximator Australia’s turn-key high-pressure test systems, ensuring a complete, compliant, and locally supported package.

• Seal materials:

  • Polyurethane (standard, oil use)

  • UHMWPE with FKM O-rings (for water service, not available for G500-2)

  • Special seal packages for aggressive fluids (see compatibility guide)

• Inlet/outlet configurations:

  • Bottom inlet (standard)

  • Side inlet available (standard on G500-2)

• Connections: BSPP, NPT, and Autoclave available
